    Peel the aubergines into strips and cut them into slices. Place them in a bowl of salted water for at least 15 minutes. Arrange the dried slices in a circle on a round baking dish. Cut the pointed peppers into small slices too and place them in the centre of the baking dish. Then place the cherry tomatoes all around.

    Melt the tomato purée in hot water and add olive oil, salt and pepper. Spread the sauce over the baking dish with a spoon.

    Cover the baking dish with a wet piece of baking paper and also wrap aluminium foil around it. Bake the dish for approx. 30 minutes in a preheated oven at 200 degrees. Bon appétit!
